Accessibility Statement

As part of our mission to make recycling more accessible, we are committed to making this website usable for everyone by conforming to relevant web accessibility standards. The website is currently early in its development and we are continually improving the user experience.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

sity.earth is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AAA. Both the light and dark theme conforms to level AA contrast requirements while the high contrast theme conforms to level AAA contrast requirements. Pre-alpha, alpha, and beta versions of the website are only partially conformant as new features can break conformance during development. All release candidates and releases will be fully conformant.
